We always have a great time here at the Family Seed. Good home town fixins, the prices are more than reasonable for portions you are given. As for the ladies, they are always sweet & smiling. Very fast & even remembers what alot of us order on a regular basis. In all honesty, when you walk in, you're treated as Family!!! Hence the name, Family Seed.
Friendly staff. Coffee not so great and soda is canned. Still a great hole in the wall breakfast place on your way to Colorado. The food was good
A fun find on my way back from Trinidad Lake. Just the kind of small restaurant I like. Great food and service. Enjoyed my visit Would love to paint a mural on the outside!
I came here with 2 local folks who both agreed the green chili here is a very good example of Trinidad-style green chili. The sopapillas were TOP NOTCH. Chewy but fluffy, and oh so good. Perfect with honey. As a vegetarian, I enjoyed the veggie omelet. The server even guessed I was vegetarian based off my order and recommended the red chili (as it doesn't have meat). The red chili was fairly mild, more like a sauce than a hearty chili on it's own, but a nice flavor addition. This is a comfortable, friendly diner where you can get a quality plate of local-style food. I'll definitely be stopping by again next time I'm in town.
Awesome little family diner in Trinidad. I will say I was a bit skeptical when pulling up to the restaurant, as it barely looks open and a little run down. The friendly staff and delicious food make up for the lack of curb appeal for sure. If you've been holding back on trying this place because of the looks, I would highly recommend to reconsider.
Cute restaurant. Good home cooked meals. Good friendly service and quick
